LANSING-Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) Interim Executive Director Keith Molin today announced that four communities were selected to take part in a pilot service as part of the Michigan Main Street program to provide Cultural Economic Development plans to all participating communities. The Michigan Main Street program is affiliated with the national Main Street Center, a division of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and is administered in partnership with MSHDA, the State Historic Preservation Office (SHIPO) and the Department of History, Arts and Libraries (HAL). The four communities designated for the program are Niles, Marshall, Boyne City and Calumet.
